Netball Social Media Finds October 2025
From game-winning intercepts to one-footed wonder goals, our feeds have been full of netball gold this month. We’ve rounded up a few of our favourite finds from across social media, featuring the clips that made us cheer, nod approvingly, or hit replay (for research purposes, obviously). It’s another great week for netball social media, and we’re not mad about it.
Maddy Gordon Is A Problem
Maddy Gordon was everywhere during the Silver Ferns’ Taini Jamison Trophy clean sweep - hassling, hunting, and hustling her way through all three tests against South Africa. From slick midcourt drives to clutch defensive stops, this reel pretty much sums up why she’s become one of New Zealand’s most reliable game changers. And, it finishes with that match-winning intercept that sealed the 57–56 victory in Invercargill. Pure instinct. Pure class. Pure Maddy Gordon.
Gina Returns
Big news from Sydney! Gina Crampton is joining the NSW Swifts for the 2026 Super Netball season. The former Silver Ferns captain and 2019 World Cup winner will slot into the midcourt while Paige Hadley takes a break for maternity leave. After some time in the Giants environment and a year off to welcome her son, Crampton’s back and ready to bring her calm, classy touch to an already stacked Swifts line up. Plus, she’ll reunite with Grace Nweke, which is a combo we can’t wait to see in action.
Trafford Wonder Goal
Turnover. Transition. One-footed finish. We love everything about this clip from Trafford Senior Netball Club. From the hustle in defence to that off-balance goal from the GS, it’s pure netball magic. The kind of play that gets everyone on the sideline cheering and earns serious bragging rights at training. More of this, please.

Ferns Zoning Masterclass
Courtesy of @alexaprinno - Storm Purvis takes us inside the Silver Ferns’ defensive smarts in game two of the Taini Jamison series, and it’s a masterclass in classic Kiwi zoning. The Ferns build a wall of pressure, keeping South Africa well away from the circle edge before a clever switch between the GK and GD shuts down every option. The result = held ball. It’s a great example of how communication and structure can win possession without a single intercept. Things we love to see!
@alexaprinno I am loving this analysis played before game 3 of the TJ Trophy. A detailed play by play of the Silver Ferns defensive unit in action against South Africa #netball #netballers #netballtok #netballanalysis ♬ original sound - Alexa | Your Netball Bestie ™
That’s a wrap on this month’s netball social media highlights. We’ll keep our eyes glued to the scroll for next month’s gems, purely in the name of content. If you spot something worthy of a mention, send it our way. The internet isn’t going to stalk itself.
